1. What kind of articles can I submit?
    You can submit articles related to trading but they must be written in English.
  2. What is the difference between OpenID and Signed up user?
    OpenID eliminates the need for multiple usernames across different websites. We support OpenID login, which means if you have an account in Yahoo, AOL, Wordpress, Blogger, myOpenID etc. you can login without registering in Pipswanted. If you do not have any OpenID account, you can get one free from here. There is no difference between OpenID and signed up users, we treat both the same. However, some of the OpenID providers do not provide email address of user, which is required to get the complete benefits of Pipswanted (e.g. comment notification via mail).
  3. What is 'pips'?
    'pips' refers to the goodness of a article. It shows how the Pipswanted community likes the article and clicked over the Wanted link to show their acceptance.
  4. What is user score? How does it calculate?
    User score indicates the contribution of an user in Pipswanted. Most of the activity of an user in Pipswanted has associated score:

  5. What is TopMovers & TopLeaders?
    TopMovers are the users who earned the highest score in last 24 hours and TopLeaders are all time highest score earners.
  6. How do articles get published? Why is that my article never got published?
    Article is published on the basis of votes aka pips, comments, freshness, views, user score (who voted for it), source of an article etc. The more the article has these values the more chance it has to be published. The article publishing process runs 4 or 5 times a day depending on the Upcoming Article queue.
